Thurs I had a un rnd beach bout 5-6 mile with draco my choc lab followed by stretching, strengthening and balancing stuff. Aft work I ran with panthers beginners and finished off with stretching. Today was the first day I ran pain free even tho the sand was really soft and it was tough going  I enjoyed the run and it felt hard.

Fri I went straight to bed aft work feeling terrible with a sore throat and head cold
Sat cake sale day, I still felt like rubbish, but went to work to do the lessons then helped Jenny do the cakes a d coffee's., no run today either but will get out 2morrow.
Sunday I ran my longest and hardest run since November,  and it wasn't pretty, the ankle seems to be healing well but this flaming cold needs to do 1. At first I struggled to breath and then I coughed my guts up  and this seemed to clear the airways for a while. This was a continual cycle through the run. Then I just happened to meet a nice little hill I 4got was there. Then running along coast rd I saw some friends who beeped and waved, nice little boost further down the rd I must of kicked some stones up so had to stop and empty shoe  lol (any excuse) it was red hot mayb I shouldn't of put this Base Layer on,  y did I? I never wear 1 oh well. Soon to take away the the heat from the body was the burning sensation in my feet aaargh,  think I'm being tested today. This went on for bout 2mile getting worse  so I walked for a short while,  then ran again  it gradually came back but I kept going then at just about  12 mile my phone rang I dug it out of my pocket and answered it it was Jenny my bestie, must have known I was suffering, I stopped to talk about all the wonderful people who have helped me this weekend raising money for Brathay's focus on furness appeal helping vulnerable youngsters right on our doorstep with Jenny and Natalie by my
side it was fantastic.  This conversation gave me the strength ʋ to carry on and finish my run. Thankyou to everyone who made cakes and cookies and to all the people that bought coffee's etc and cakes u have bn amazing  over the weekend we raised £200 big thanks to everyone..
